Your DATEV bookings, pointed forwards
Your accountant already produces the most accurate picture of your business. Import the Buchungsstapel and Foreqast turns it into a forecast instead of a report.
What is read
Exactly what Foreqast takes from a Buchungsstapel
The DATEV column mapping is fixed and shown to you before the import runs — no guessing which column meant what. DTVF and EXTF exports are both read, with SKR03 or SKR04 accounts.
| DATEV field | Direction | When | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Umsatz with Soll/Haben-Kennzeichen | Read-only | Per import | Whatever the file covers |
| Konto & Gegenkonto (SKR03/SKR04) | Read-only | Per import | Whatever the file covers |
| BU-Schlüssel → VAT rate | Read-only | Per import | Whatever the file covers |
| Belegdatum | Read-only | Per import | Whatever the file covers |
| Belegfeld 1 & 2 | Read-only | Per import | Whatever the file covers |
| Buchungstext | Read-only | Per import | Whatever the file covers |
| Kost1 / Kost2 (cost centres) | Read-only | Per import | Whatever the file covers |
How the bookings land in your model
Accounts become the lines your forecast plans on
A booking is not a forecast on its own. Foreqast reads the account behind each line, sorts it into the P&L structure your plan uses, and takes the VAT out — so the past side of the model is your bookkeeping rather than a retyped version of it.
Accounts map onto the categories your forecast plans in, so actuals and plan sit on the same line.
The VAT key resolves to a rate, so net and gross are separated without you keying anything.
Every line lands in the month it belongs to, which is what makes month-on-month comparable.
Cost centres survive the import, so a cost can be read per team or per site.
What you can do with it
Once your bookings are in
Setup
One file, three steps
Ask your accountant for a Buchungsstapel export — most send it in a day.
1.Export the Buchungsstapel
From DATEV, or ask your tax advisor for one. Semicolon-separated CSV with the standard two header rows.
2.Upload and confirm the mapping
The DATEV column mapping is preset. You see exactly which column becomes which field before anything is written.
3.Read your forecast
The past side builds from the bookings, the future from your drivers, and the two sit on one timeline.

Better together
Bookings behind, drivers ahead
DATEV gives the forecast its past. A revenue source gives it its future — which is where a decision actually gets tested.

A file you send, not an account we hold
You choose the file
There is no connection into DATEV. You decide which export to upload and when — nothing is fetched behind your back.
Hosted in the EU
Your data sits on EU servers, encrypted in transit and at rest.
Yours to revoke
Disconnect it in settings and access ends immediately — and you can delete what was imported.
FAQ
DATEV questions, answered
Do you connect to DATEV directly?
Not today. You import the Buchungsstapel export, which is the file your accountant already produces. A direct connection is on the roadmap.
SKR03 or SKR04?
Both. The account mapping recognises the standard charts, and you can adjust how any account is categorised afterwards.
What if my accountant edited the export in Excel?
It still reads. The parser handles the common real-world variants — older DTVF exports, shifted columns, and dates re-saved as DD.MM.YYYY.
How often do I have to import?
As often as you want the past side to be current — usually once a month, when the bookkeeping for the previous month is closed.
Turn your bookkeeping into a plan
Import one Buchungsstapel and see what your own numbers say about the next twelve months.
