Integration · Toggl Track

Tracked hours, priced

Your team already logs where the time went. Foreqast turns those hours into project revenue, staffing cost and the margin left over — per project and per month.

How the hours land in your model

Hours become revenue, cost and the gap between them

An agency's profit does not live in its invoices — it lives in the difference between the hours sold and the hours worked. Foreqast splits payroll on exactly that line: hours booked to projects are direct labour, everything left over is internal work.

Hours per project
Time worked

Each project's row carries the hours actually logged against it, week by week.

Hours × rate
Project revenue

The fee side of the project, on the dates the money is invoiced and paid.

Hours × cost per hour
Direct labour

What the delivered work cost, capped at the payroll it came from.

Payroll − direct labour
Internal work

The part of your wage bill no client paid for — visible instead of assumed.

1.Authorise Toggl Track

Approve read access to your workspace. No API tokens to copy around.

5 min

2.Match projects

Your Toggl projects line up with the projects in Foreqast, once — new ones map themselves afterwards.

3.Hours flow into the model

Past weeks fill with what was really worked; future weeks carry each person's own pattern forward.

Better together

The stack most agencies run

Time tracking says what the work cost. Accounting says what everything else cost. Together they make project margin an actual number.

Security & permissions

Read-only, and no more than the hours

Read-only, always

Foreqast only ever reads. It never creates, edits or deletes anything in your system.

Hours, not screenshots

Only time entries, projects and the billable flag are read. Nothing about how anyone worked.

Yours to revoke

Disconnect it in settings and access ends immediately — and you can delete what was imported.

FAQ

Toggl questions, answered

When does it ship?

It is on the roadmap and not live yet. Until it is, hours can be entered per project by hand or imported by CSV — the model behind them already works.

Do you need every person to track time?

No, but the internal-work number is only as complete as the tracking behind it. Partial tracking gives a partial picture, and the page says so rather than pretending otherwise.

What if we bill fixed fees, not hours?

That is the more interesting case: the fee is fixed, the hours are not, and the difference is the margin. The forecast prices the hours regardless of how you invoice.

Can I still adjust hours by hand?

Yes. A manually entered value always takes precedence over a synced one, for the month it applies to.
