Referrals

Pass it on to someone still in the spreadsheet

You know at least one founder guessing at their runway. An introduction is worth more to them than any ad we could run — and we would rather reward you for it than a platform.

Why this page exists

The people who need this are found by people they trust, not by ads.

Nobody changes how they plan their business because of a banner. They change because someone they respect said "I stopped guessing, here is what I use".

That is how almost every Foreqast account so far has started, and it is the only channel we would rather spend money on than any other.

So this programme is deliberately simple: introduce someone, and if they end up using it, both of you get something. No dashboard to check, no link to remember, no tier to climb.

One rule, and we mean it: only introduce someone you would genuinely tell about this over a coffee. A referral that annoys a friend costs you more than it earns.

What you get

Simple on purpose

A referral programme with a points system is a marketing exercise. This one is a thank-you.

Something for both of you

The person you introduce gets an extended free period; you get credit on your own plan. The exact amount is confirmed when the account starts.

No tracking links

Send an email introduction or tell us the name. We would rather ask you than follow someone around the internet with a cookie.

A real onboarding for them

Anyone you send is set up properly — the accounting import and the first drivers walked through, not left to a help centre.

No limit

Introduce one person or ten. There is no cap, and no tier you have to reach before anything counts.

We do not spam your contact

One introduction, one conversation. If they are not interested, that is the end of it, and it does not reflect on you.

Tell us what to say

If it helps, we will send you two sentences you can forward. Most people write their own — they are better.

How it works

Three steps, no dashboard

The whole programme fits in an email.

  1. 1

    Think of someone actually stuck

A founder planning in a spreadsheet, or one who cannot say what a hire would do to their runway. Not a list of everyone you know.

  2. 2

    Introduce us

Email them and copy us in, or send us the name and we will reach out mentioning you. Whichever is less awkward for you.

  3. 3

    Both of you get something

If they start using it, they get an extended free period and you get credit on your plan. We tell you when it lands.

The terms

What is actually settled

During early access the product is free, so the reward is credit against what you will pay later rather than a payment today.

For them

Extended free period

On top of early access, so an introduced account has room to get through a full planning cycle before paying.

For you

Credit on your plan

Applied against what your plan costs once early access ends. Confirmed per referral when their account starts.

Referrals

No limit

No cap and no tiers. We would rather you send one good introduction than ten polite ones.

When not to send someone

A bad referral costs your relationship with that person, which is worth more than any credit.

  • They plan twice a year and their revenue barely moves — a spreadsheet is genuinely enough, and we would tell them so.
  • They need consolidation across a group of companies, or a treasury tool for many accounts and currencies. That is not what this is.
  • They have not got their bookkeeping in any shape at all. The forecast builds on it, so the mess comes first.
  • You would be sending them because of the credit rather than because it would help. They will be able to tell, and so will we.

FAQ

Questions about referrals

Do I need to be a customer?

For the credit, yes — it applies to your own plan. Anyone can make an introduction, and we are glad of it either way.

How do you know it came from me?

Because you told us, or because you copied us into the email. There is no tracking link and no cookie involved.

When does the credit apply?

When their account starts. During early access nothing is billed yet, so it sits against what you will pay when it is.

Can I refer my own second company?

That is not a referral, but it might be a partner account — talk to us and we will point you at the right one.

What if they are already talking to you?

Then we will say so rather than double-count it. We would rather be straight with you than quietly keep the credit.

Know someone still guessing?

Send the introduction, and we will take it from there — carefully, because they are your contact before they are our lead.
